My galaxy note 8 is not sensing any external memory cards through its usb port(using usb connector). My laptop is also sensing it as a storage device. However no issue with charging at all. Did everything best I could like apps cache reset, reset settings, reset apps preferences etc.
Please perform the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue:
1) Try different OTG with your device.
2) Check by other pen drive or memory card.
3) Check USB connection :- Perform interactive checks through the Samsung Member apps (Samsung members -> Get Help -> Interactive checks -> Charger/USB).
