Using Custom ROM

Basically Galaxy M31 has OneUI Core version. But if I want to use OneUI Full version in my phone , I have to use Custom ROM. Are OneUI Core and OneUI Full two different proprietary version of OneUI? I own Samsung phone, so will it be okay to use Full OneUI 4.1, A51 port Custom ROM in my Galaxy M31?
