👉 The One UI 8.5 stable update officially started rolling out on May 6, 2026 (in South Korea).

👉 In India, the rollout is expected to begin around May 8.

👉 However, it does not arrive to everyone on the same day — updates are always released in phases (batches).

📅 Expected timeline (India🇮🇳)

May 8–11 → Galaxy S25 series (first priority)

May 9–14 → Galaxy S24, Fold/Flip models

Mid to end of May → Galaxy S23, A-series, and other devices

Even after rollout starts, your phone may take 2–10 days to receive it

It depends on:

Your device model

Region batch rollout

Whether you were in the beta program

Samsung leaks these news but never confirms in members app or website. Also in members app update notification comes more then a week after rollout.
