Samsung Android 13 Tracker: One UI 5.0 Release Date, Eligible Devices, Features

Samsung started the Android 13 Beta-based One UI 5.0 testing program for the Galaxy devices in early August. Moving ahead, Google officially launched the new Android 13 operating system, seeded source code to AOSP and started the rollout for Pixel devices on August 15.

Google first introduced the Android 13 OS in February 2022, later on, it started the Developer Preview and Public Beta program. The company confirmed that the Android 13 OS update coming to Samsung Galaxy devices later this year.

Android 13 Beta: One UI 5

As Samsung’s One UI 5.0 is based on Android 13 OS, the OEM started Beta testing in August 2022 for the S22 series. To be mentioned, the Beta testing of the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 was begin in September, while the official rollout happened in mid-November.

One UI 5.0 Release Date – October 15, 2022

Samsung may unveil the One UI 5.0, based on the Android 13 operating system, sometime in October 2022. In addition, the Galaxy S22 series devices will be the first to get the major software upgrade, later this year. We are guessing that Samsung might release the Stable One UI 5.0 on October 15.

Eligible Devices: One UI 5.0

Following its tradition, Samsung announced the One UI 4.1 alongside the Galaxy S22 series, in February this year. After the One UI 4.1, check out which Galaxy devices will be getting the next major OS upgrade with a new One UI — One UI 5.0.

Hi, Samsung has told us in sdc22 one ui 5.0 will come sometime at the end of this month, for s22 series, sammobile said today, don't know if true.
