Makes me wonder if the exynos for s24 is the reason for delay in one ui 7 updates. Looks like samsung didn't assume they would face this issue in future android updates for the exynos. And if Samsung is so confident about the exynos processor why didn't they launch the S25 and S25+ with exynos in select markets as they did last year. If you own a S24 or S24+ i guess we have been fooled by Samsung to buy these models especially in India.

Clarification Regarding One UI 7 Availability in India
We understand that many users are curious about the rollout of One UI 7 in India. However, it’s important to note that Samsung follows a region-wise, phased rollout strategy to ensure a stable and optimized update experience for all users. The availability of software updates can vary depending on device model, carrier restrictions, and country-specific testing protocols.
If One UI 7 hasn't yet arrived on your device, it does not indicate neglect or delay from Samsung, but rather a careful and strategic approach to deliver updates that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Samsung ensures that each update undergoes thorough testing and certification before it reaches end users.
We kindly advise users to remain patient and avoid spreading misinformation. Updates will arrive as scheduled, and official announcements should always be trusted over speculation. Rest assured, Samsung remains fully committed to providing timely and quality updates to its users across all regions — including India.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hearing this since April 7 which was the official launch date as given by samsung understand the time and region issues for the updates to rollout in south korea first but isn't this what samsung has been preparing for since december when it rolled out its first one ui 7 beta update? Don't want to rush things either and want a stable and smooth ui experience on my device but i think 4 months is a very long time which the users have been waiting for and delaying it further will only leave samsung with more frustrated customers.

I think they started developing one ui 7 for older models too late, because they were clear on their decision from starting that one ui 7 for older models will be much delayed in order to attract customers to buy S25 series just for a upgraded software.

Brands also know that no one will buy a new series phone with same design, same camera module arrangement, same sensors, same battery, same build material, approx same camera
The S25 series selling point is only the new processor and the new software, and brand just doesn't want to lose their selling point so early 🙂
So just playing with old customers

So the best thing to do as customers is to buy the new flagship model every year 😂
