May a Community Manager please respond on behalf of Samsung SA to the ongoing security updates, any updates for that matter, that are always way overdue to the time it should be readily available for download?
I am again going to compare to Apple, which is your only competition by the way, updates are available weekly for Beta testers and fortnightly for public users. With iPhone you know if you go and check the update is already waiting for download and or install? Thus they simply deliver on their service commitment and quality promise!
Samsung regularly states in the media how they offer support to devices for atleast 5 years (60 months). What's the point if you brag about 5 years of horrible update maintenance to the user if you get updates every now and again?
Thus 60 months, should aleast account to 60 monthly updates? As things are now you get an update every 4 months, gives you 15 updates over 5 years?
And please do not blame Korea or Russia or the Gupta's. You are Samsang SA, then send this to Korea and tell them we await response on this? No wonder Kim Jong-un got so mad and frustrated with South Korea, he rather ch
ose to be without the rest of the world if the best cannot be delivered.
