What is the difference between RECENT and TASK SWITCHER?

Recent key take the app u busy with and minimise it in the recent menu.it shows you the apps that you used, and then you change to a specific app you want. Task switcher switches between recent apps without having to recently view other apps, so the recent app just shows app then you pick ....sorry I answered the wrong question before😂
