I personally prefer the default one ui buttons navigation. Gesture is nice but I wish Samsung could implement it a little different by disabling side swiping as a back gesture.
I personally feel it's just too common being available on every android device. Making the Gesture bar a little thick would nice IMO and instead of side swiping, change it to just tap on the Gesture bar to go back and flick to go home.
You could change the back swipe to have multiple functions. You'll need to get Good Lock from the Galaxy Store (or if you don't want to spoof your location and all that, get Fine Lock on the Play Store) and download "One Hand Operation +". I can control my music, access a little pop-up menu and then some...
