Another way to clear your storage from being full or unnecessarily consumed is by deleting cache on your phone's apps.
Cache is a temporary storage that stores secretly on your phone because of the apps you are using. The more you use these apps, the more storage you consume in your phone. I will show you guys (those who don't know) other ways to clear up your phone's storage. I will show you guys an example that I just did on my phone.
1. Go to your phone's settings, scroll down and tap "Apps"
2. Check for all apps (I just used Chrome so I will make an example of it)
3. Inside that app, scroll down to "Storage".
A secret? The storage amount shown there IS NOT YOUR APPS ACTUAL STORAGE (if you frequently use the app)
4. Inside storage you will see the storage that you lost while using the app. Tap "Clear Cache" NOT "Clear data"
5. The cache will be cleared.
So what just happened?🫢
Did everything that I downloaded from Chrome get deleted? No. When you clear cache, you are removing this temporary data. Everything from your device is still saved, you just saved yourself some space and you made your apps and device perform smoother.
