my GW4 keeps disconnecting from my phone when it's on the charger, is it normal?

I have been noticing for quite a bit time now, its keep on disconnecting and not able to manage through galaxy wearable app as it disconnects whenever we open a thread to check something with watch.

Not only when using the app but also even when the watch keeps for charging phone gets pop ups stating that watch got disconnected which will be so randomly.

Is there any bug which is reported recently?

I have seen online threads which even dated back to march.

NB: No updates are pending for watch/supportive apps/phone and several restarts were done in this duration which never helped

Hello,
Kindly follow the below steps:

Settings >> General Management >> Reset >> Reset all settings.

Let us know if this works.

Reset was done. But not useful. The condition still persists

Hello,

 

Please do the below steps:

  1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone. 
  2. Tap Watch settings. Note: You can skip this step on some watch models. 
  3. Tap General>Reset>and then tap Reset again to confirm.

For the sake of your comment, done the process again. And not to my surprise, it still persists.

I too have same issue. Just try to charge wirelessly like using damsung phones then charge in regular way this works

2024 and I have the same problem. Worse than now the notification is an unbearable message that appears on apps over and over again. And to make things worse, the apps I use keep updating and buggy. Just disabling Bluetooth solves it, because the cell phone stops trying to connect to the watch. It's a bizarre situation.
