First install the watchmaker plugin on your Galaxy Watch 4. Then on your phone go into watchmaker / settings and ensure that you have Wear OS selected - then scroll all the way to the bottom and select the generic one.
Same procedure applies to Facer watch faces and plug-in, with the exception that Facer already has the Galaxy Watch 4 listed in the phone app.
Note: you have to activate the plugin first. SO on your watch, long press the current watch face and select either the Watchmaker or Facer plugin.
If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.
