WearablesThe auto-pause and play issue you're experiencing with your Samsung Buds 2 during media consumption could be caused by several factors. Here are some steps to help troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Dirt or debris on the sensors can cause the auto-pause feature to activate incorrectly. Gently clean the sensors on the earbuds with a soft, dry cloth to remove any buildup.
Ensure that the earbuds are properly seated in your ears. If the sensors detect that the earbuds are not correctly positioned, they might pause and play media automatically.
Open the Galaxy Wearable app > Go to Advanced Settings > Turn off Auto-Detect Ear or In-Ear Detection (this may vary depending on the app version).
Open the Galaxy Wearable app > Go to Earbuds software update and check for updates.
Forget the Bluetooth connection in your phone's settings and then re-pair the earbuds.
Open the Galaxy Wearable app > Go to About Earbuds > Tap Reset Earbuds.
Connect the Galaxy Buds 2 to another device and test media playback to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if the problem is with the earbuds or the original device.
