Galaxy SThank you for contacting Samsung Gulf Electronics for advice regarding your Galaxy Note 10+.
We strongly recommend opting for the original Samsung screen, even with minor cosmetic marks, over a non-original "copy" screen for the following reasons:
- Display Quality: Original screens use Dynamic AMOLED technology for superior colors and brightness, whereas copies often use inferior panels that can lead to significant battery drain.
- Sensor Support: The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is integrated into the original display. Most copy screens are incompatible with this hardware, which would cause you to lose your fingerprint security functionality.
- S Pen Precision: Only genuine screens ensure the specialized digitizer layer required for the S Pen to function with full accuracy and pressure sensitivity.
- Durability: Genuine parts are manufactured to Samsung’s high standards for impact resistance and a perfect fit, while copy screens are often more fragile.
To ensure your device is restored to official standards, we suggest visiting an Authorized Samsung Service Center. You can check the estimated repair costs for the Gulf region on our website: Samsung.com/ae/support/repair-prices/.

Galaxy SI have opted the original broken screen. But how do you recommend me to keep the broken sides safe? So they don't get widened?

Galaxy SThank you for your follow up.
If you are currently using the original screen with minor cracks or clefts on the side, please follow the recommendations below to prevent the damage from spreading further:
- Avoid applying pressure to the damaged area, especially when using the S Pen or tapping near the cracked side.
- Use a high quality tempered glass screen protector to add an extra layer of protection and help hold the cracked area in place.
- Install a rigid protective case that covers the edges of the phone to prevent further impact or flexing of the frame.
- Keep the device away from moisture, as liquid can enter through small cracks and cause internal damage.
- Avoid exposing the phone to extreme temperatures, as heat or cold can cause the glass to expand or contract and make cracks spread.
- Handle the device carefully and avoid placing it in pockets or bags where it may be bent or pressed.
These steps can help reduce the risk of the cracks getting worse until you are able to replace the screen.
