Bring Back "Lock on Exit" Option in Secure Folder

Hi Samsung Team,

I'm using the Samsung S25 Ultra on One UI 8, and I noticed that the Secure Folder no longer has the option to lock immediately after exiting the app.

Previously, in One UI 7, I could set Secure Folder to lock every time I leave it, which was extremely useful for keeping apps and sensitive data secure in day-to-day use. Now, the only available option is to lock when the screen turns off.

While I understand that One UI 8's changes improve system-level privacy, the removal of the "lock on exit" option reduces convenience and flexibility for users who want instant protection.

Please consider restoring the "lock on exit" option in a future update. This feature is important for users who rely on Secure Folder for banking apps, work apps, or other sensitive

information.

To assist you further, follow these steps:
1. Settings > Software update > Download and install > Download > Install now.
2. Go to setting => apps => Secure Folder=> storage => clear cache.
3. Force restart by pressing “volume down key + power” button until the device reboot. After reboot below action.
4. Go to Settings – Apps - One UI Home – Storage - Clear data.
5. Go to Settings then Tap the three dots (More options) within Secure Folder, then tap on "Settings".
6. Locate Auto-Lock Settings: Find and tap on "Auto lock Secure Folder".
7. Choose Auto-Lock Option: Select "Each time I leave an app" to ensure it locks immediately when you exit.

That is what I'm saying. Point 7, there is no auto lock option to lock everytime I leave the App.

I feel very disappointed after the removal of the 'Lock on Exit' feature. What makes it worse is that Secure Folder no longer requires a password to be deleted, which means anyone who has my phone while the folder is unlocked can copy or delete the data, or even delete the entire Secure Folder. What is more frustrating is that Samsung removed this feature without providing any explanation. This makes Secure Folder less secure and puts my private data at risk. I urge Samsung to restore this feature as soon as possible
