Samsung tales forever with software updates, it July 20 and my current software is June 1, and it says my software is up to date, why is it taking so long?
Yes updates are released that way, if you check even your Google play system update is dated 1 June.... I think the main reason is you can't get July update on the 1st of July as the July bugs need to be ractified in July, hence it's launched towards mid month to month end depending on your device and csc...
Also these updates go through alpha testing in lab so you version may end with FYF2, the last F being the month and the 2 meaning there was another version in testing that under went improvement and the improved is now the 2nd version, these may go as high as 6 or 9 from what I've seen
