The Samsung Galaxy A15 is a solid budget device, but because it lacks high-end hardware like Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), getting "better" photos often comes down to lighting and software tweaks.
Here is how you can maximize the quality of both your front and back cameras:
1. Optimize Your Camera Settings
The default settings aren't always the best for every shot. Try these adjustments:
Enable Scene Optimizer: This uses AI to recognize what you’re shooting (like food or landscapes) and automatically adjusts colors and contrast.Use High Resolution (50MP): By default, the A15 "bins" pixels to save space. To get maximum detail, tap the aspect ratio icon (usually says 3:4) in the camera app and select 3:4 50MP. Note: This is best for bright daylight only. Grid Lines: Turn these on in settings to help you use the "Rule of Thirds" for better-composed shots.
2. Improve the Back Camera (Triple Lens)
Clean the Lens: This sounds basic, but the A15's lenses are flush with the back and pick up fingerprint oils easily, which makes photos look "foggy" or creates light streaks. Wipe it with a soft cloth before every shoot.Master the Focus/Exposure Lock: Tap on your subject to focus, then slide the sun icon up or down to manually adjust the brightness before you take the photo. Avoid Digital Zoom: The A15 doesn't have a dedicated telephoto lens. Anything past 1x is digital zoom, which quickly loses detail. It’s almost always better to take a 1x photo and crop it later.
3. Improve the Front (Selfie) Camera
Face the Light: The 13MP front camera struggles in low light. Always face your primary light source (like a window or a lamp) rather than having the light behind you.Adjust Skin Smoothness: If your selfies look too "**bleep**" or blurry, tap the Magic Wand icon (Effects) > Face and turn down the smoothness/beauty filter to get more natural skin texture.
Hope it helps
