Is anyone else having issues downloading and installing apps? Just had a yellow triangle saying couldnt update⚠️  Only option that pops up is send feedback or understood. Problem shooting steps don't work. **bleep**?

Yes I'm having a problem updating chrome and android system web view, when I tap update it just says pending and doesn't say downloading but when I look at my notifications it will say downloading, but when it finishes "downloading" as my notification panel tells me it just says there's still an update available and I don't see any changes to the user interface or the app icon (which was updated by Google a few weeks ago). This has been happening for weeks, and when I cancel the download from the notification panel it says that the app couldn't ipdate and then the prompt pops up with the "send feedback" and "understood" options.

1.Turn WiFi and Mobile data off.
2. Clear Google play store data then immediately restart your phone.
3. Try updating your apps again

Update all apps first except for Android WebView and Chrome. Once all apps have updated, manually check for update. Now select Update all and wait for Android WebView and chrome to update.

So do I have to make all my apps update or can I just update all the ones I want except for Android Sytem Web View and Chrome because I got some apps that I don't want to update, like pubg and 2 other games.

Yes, you can just update the apps you want except for Android WebView and chrome. Once the apps you wanted to update have finish updating, turn off WiFi and Mobile data then clear cache and data for Google Play Store then immediately restart your phone. After phone restarted, update Android WebView and chrome. It's OK if you don't want to update the 3 games after phone has restarted. You don't have to use "Update all" button since doing so will download PUBG and your other 2 games. Instead use two fingers to tap on/select update buttons next to Android WebView and Chrome at the same time. What we want is to let Android System Webview and chrome to download and update at the same time. It's like there is a link between these 2 apps.

Thanks a lot, I updated Android System WebView perfectly, but not Chrome-because it's nit showing up as a pending update-so I decided to wait until it does. I actually didn't update all my apps because it's loadshedding where I am so my network is extremely bad, I waited like 2 minutes for a 1.1mb update to complete so I decided not to update my apps. But thanks a lot, I appreciate it.

Select "Don't auto-update apps" in Google play store>Settings>Network preferences> Auto-update apps>Don't auto_update apps, to prevent apps from auto updating themselves.

For chrome:

Tap on this link to open Google Chrome Play Store page:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android.chrome

Now you will see two buttons (one "Uninstall" and the other one is a green rectangular button which either reads "Update or "Open"). If the green rectangular button reads "Open" it mean chrome has already updated else if it reads "Update" then select it to update chrome. It may show pending but if you expand notification panel, you should see that chrome is actually being downloaded or you may see something with this name 'trichromelibrary'.

Yeah I already have auto update off, and my chrome isn't showing the "update" option it's showing the "open" option, but it's been doing that ever since the first time I tried to update it and it didn't work, it will eventually show up again as a pending update and when it does I'll just do what I done to update Android System WebView again to update Chrome..... But thanks a lot I appreciate it🤝
