Google Assistant

[The-Kid-Deė]

Did you guys realise that Google Assistant was replaced by Gemini 4 days ago

[Njordsson]

It was always the plan

[The-Kid-Deė]

I'm disappointed

[Tendai777]

Google offers Gemini to replace Google Assistant on supported Android phones and accounts, but users can often switch back in settings if they prefer the classic Assistant.

[SpaceRays86]

That was what you could do before 4 days ago

Now Gemini fully replaces Google Assistant on Android

[Tendai777]

Ohhhhh. It has been phased out?

[SpaceRays86]

I believe so

[The-Kid-Deė]

I checked settings, the option is no longer there

[SpaceRays86]

Which one do you think is a better assistant

[The-Kid-Deė]

Google Assistant was better, Gemini can't take too much requests
