I put my phone on charge last night, when I woke up this morning, I realised most of my contacts were missing. Everything is set to auto sync and I haven't deleted anything. I also restarted and checked if my IOS as well as the contact app was up to date, and it is. Does anyone know why this could happen?
Start by soft resetting your device( press power button and volume down key until the device restarts). If that does not work try the following:
Ensure that all of your contacts are selected.
1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps. 2. Select Contacts. 3. Select Menu(three lines).
This will show all of your accounts linked to your device (such as SIM, Google and Facebook). Ensure "All contacts" is selected. If there is one account not ticked correctly (if certain contacts are linked to an account instead of your device), this may be the reason why some contacts may have disappeared.
Thank you so much!! I actually realised that my son's phone is linked with mine and he was playing with it and deleted my contacts... Thankfully they were still in th Recycle Bin and I could just restore them.
