Sup guys, does anyone know how i can use the Actions and Routines feature to set an action which will automatically switch between Automatic Private DNS and my custom Private DNS. I want this to happen based on which place I'm at, like at school it switches to Automatic and at home it switches to my custom DNS.
Thank you

Hey 👋
At the moment, Samsung’s Modes & Routines does not support automatically switching between Automatic Private DNS and a custom Private DNS based on location or Wi-Fi connection.
Even though you can set location triggers like arriving home or school, and Wi-Fi triggers, there isn’t an action available that allows you to change the Private DNS setting itself. That option just isn’t available in One UI right now.
If you really want this to happen automatically, your alternatives would be using Tasker (a third-party automation app) which can control deeper system settings, or using Good Lock with the Routines+ module to record touch macros that navigate to the Private DNS setting and switch it. It’s not the cleanest solution, but it can work.
Otherwise, you’ll have to switch it manually for now. Hopefully Samsung adds it as a built-in routine action in a future One UI update.

You can install an app called "Essentials". It will allow you to add a quick settings tile to cycle through Automatic or Private DNS. Besides that, there's a ton of other really cool features you can add.
