you can also try GCam 6.1 search for that on xda .. it has night sight and google lens too

The answer for your question is really simple. Google camera does much better processing than the samsung's stock camera app. Also, samsung's camera takes pictures with more shadows, but you just don't get the dynamic range and picture detail as you get in the Google camera. In short: Your Galaxy with a Google Camera performs even better than a pixel. Just go for it if your device gets it the right way!
