Galaxy SThis looks like a software-related issue since it started right after the update. A few things you can try:
1. Reset Network Settings → Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will refresh all Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data settings.
2. Forget & Reconnect Wi-Fi → Remove the 5GHz network from your phone and connect again by entering the password.
3. Change Router Channel → Sometimes the 5GHz band works better on a different channel. If possible, try adjusting the channel in your router settings.
4. Safe Mode Test → Boot your phone in safe mode and check if the issue persists. If it works fine in safe mode, a third-party app may be causing conflicts.
5. Wipe Cache Partition → Power off your phone, enter recovery mode, and wipe the cache partition (this won’t delete your data).
If none of these help, I’d recommend reporting this through the Samsung Members > Support > Error Reports option so the software team can investigate and push a fix in the next update.
Hope this helps!
