Why so much frustration over One UI 7?

I honestly don’t understand the level of frustration I’m seeing in the community over the One UI 7 rollout. I’ve been using the S24 Ultra for the past 11 months, and it’s been nothing short of excellent. No bugs, no issues—just a smooth and solid experience. In my opinion, Samsung still offers one of the best UI experiences in the Android ecosystem.

Now, I’m seeing people saying they’re planning to switch to iPhones or other Android brands just because the update hasn’t dropped yet. Really? Were you expecting an award from someone for getting the update first?

Let’s be real—it’s just a software update. Your device is still going to perform well without it. Whether it arrives in April, May, or whenever Samsung schedules it, your phone will continue to work just fine.

And to those considering switching brands, maybe take a moment to visit other brand forums. You’ll see users struggling with plenty of issues despite getting updates on time.Especially Apple.

Rushing updates doesn’t always mean better performance.

Patience, people. Good things take time.

You're wrong... We paid money, especially for high-end phones, to get the best experience and the fastest updates.
Otherwise, what's the difference between a flagship phone from a leading company and another that costs less than half from another brand?

I would've agreed with you if Samsung had no plans to release the update. But in this case, the update is only delayed. Samsung never announced a specific date for each region—they clearly stated that the rollout would start from April 7 and would gradually reach different regions. I think the brand was pretty clear about their plan, and a phased rollout like this is quite normal. The only thing is, users are frustrated because some regions have already received the update while others are still waiting. But don’t think just because the rollout for your region is delayed by a few days, your device is no longer a flagship.

The whole issue started with them delaying the update over and over without giving any real reason.
And when they finally released it, they should’ve just made it available for everyone—like Apple does, and they sell tons of phones too.
Honestly, I think it’s just a sales strategy. They want to make as much money as possible from the S25 before sending the update to older phones.
Same way they drop the phone’s price over time to hit their sales targets.
At the end of the day, it’s all about sales—not about giving users a smooth or perfect experience like they claim.

It's not about who gets first and who will be the last. It's about being transparent and informing thousands of customers like us who are eagerly waiting for the update on when it is exactly going to happen.

Below are my thoughts on Samsung's approach for software upgrade execution

1. Beta test must have been provided to people who want to participate, not country or region wise.

2. Update must have taken place at once all over the world so that we don't feel left alone.

Frustration is derived from being cheated. And poor communication and admittance from Samsung.
