Galaxy S
It seems some apps randomly show peeking notification where other apps don't and there's no setting for the user to be able to set his/her preference, which is present in stock Android. What's the problem keeping the setting for users???

Use edge lighting settings to change this settings.

I checked the Edge Lighting settings and found that it's possible to enable the peeking notification for all apps. However the biggest issue I see is that it DOES NOT work for Gmail (and possibly other apps also). And also, I don't like the look and feel of the Edge Lighting notification popups. I would prefer to see the regular peeking notifications available for all apps, especially Gmail.
