Why did Samsung remove Director mode

Why did Samsung remove Director Mode, which allowed us to switch between all four lenses?

Yesterday, I got the S24+, and in Dual Record mode, we can select a lens before recording, but not while filming.

In the past, we could switch lenses even during recording.

This feels like a downgrade.
