Two days ago I updated my phone with the latest security update and since then I've had this issue with my screen turning white and totally unusable. After doing some research I found out its called the "White screen of death" and I'm not the only one having this issue. Samsung needs to sort this out because I am not paying for a new phone when this one was working perfectly before their last update. I need help resolving this issue before I pull whatever hair I have left out. THANKS
Force Restart the PhoneOn Samsung Galaxy phones, you will have to press and hold the Volume Down key and the Power button at the same time for about seven to ten seconds until the phone turns off. Force restarting the phone should fix the white screen issue on Android phones, including Samsung.
