WI-FI Calling

I am located in Dubai and i am using Etisalat. Some areas where Etisalat network is poor or not there obliviously i am not able to use my phone . My friend has Note 9 and in his phone Wifi calling is enabled and he can receive call and make call even if the Etisalat  signal is zero . Surprisingly i have note 10 but i cannot use Wifi calling as it is disabled. When i asked Etisalat they said you have to ask Samsung . When i asked Samsung center they said they need to speak to Etisalat and then when agreement is reached software update will be sent and you can then use WIFI calling option for Note 10 and above . Well point is Apple all the model has Wifi calling option active as my friends are using the same here . 

What i am not able to understand when Note 9 can have this option on then why not for higher model for Samsung. Wifi calling is an useful app as even low signal area we are connected and specially for business guys . 

hope Samsung looks into the same seriously and urgently .

I sent an email to samsung gulf, but it didn't solve my issue.

dear samsung team how can the limitation be for higher model and not for lower model . note 9 has the feature but note 10 does not . higher model and advance model should come with added feature and not with less . apple phone has all this feature and advantage

Very true. Voice Over WiFi(VoWiFi) is such an useful feature which is available with all iphone models but for samsung its disabled for GCC countries like U.A.E where network operators are supporting this function. Surprising this feature will get enabled automatically on Gulf models if you're using Jio SIM card (Belongs to India) on roaming here in U.A.E.
I don't understand why samsung is going forward to have discussions with Etisalat/Du to make it available for UAE models.

VoWiFi working with Note 20 Ultra UAE model only with roaming SIM card wheras the feature is disabled for UAE SIM cards.

how much advance phone is better camera and fast surfing speed calling is the basic importance and need that any brand of phone need to fullfill . this important feature which is not available is an great disadvantage . imagine if other people comes to know ofcourse even temporary they will jave ambiguity in deciding as to which brand should i go like samsung or apple or microsoft or what . the competition is tough and narrow . i still want to emphasis and request samsung to urgently look into the same and do needful . its not a something difficult or great glitch. i wish some real decision maker could read our concern and reply and give some solution

how much ever advace the network system is because various service provider there always be a situation where we will find low or no signal in place from one provider to other . in uae itslef there are many places and in such situation to stay connected we need this wifi calling option . this is what i guess apple very well understood and addressed too. samsung being competative brand also need to look into the same . this is basic requirement and should not be left unattended

in dubai i did my all investigations. i spoke to samsung extensively and final conclusion was this . every country the software updates phone are released in as per that country network regualtion authority . in uae also it same. voice over wifi can only be activated by software update only . well presently it is not . i bought my note 10 in uae and all updates are happening here so until now no success .
if you have brought your phone outside uae or travelled outside and had opportunity to get update else where there is possiblity vowifi being active is possibility .
last supurising all iphone 11 and above have vowifi by default activate and people are using in uae .
its really a useful feature basically when you in weak signal zone or no signal zone . if you are connected to wifi of any type you can recive and make call.
now i am thinking of getting apple phone as there is no go with note 10 and samsung as not taken any step to resolve it . it seems to be long way before samsung can resolve it or look into our post and support its loyal customer
