My guess would be that you don't want the mic of the phone recording the audio, but receiving the audio directly fom the mics. You will need a mixer connected to the mics ,to put the sound through first ,so you can make use of the volume slider and a pre amplified output to a headphone jack with 3 lines on it,so its audio left and right, and the 3rd for a mic ,after connecting, then plug it into your phone and start the video recording

I already tried this,

It really works perfectly with a Samsung Type-C to AUX converter, plus a headphone jack and mic jack splitter and the mic. But when I try to record from a mixer or an amplifier that I use with my record player, the only thing I get is being some regular parasite noise. on the audio.

My combination is like this. Samsung Type-C to AUX converter, plus a headphone jack and mic jack splitter (which basically converts 3 pins to 2 pins) plus an audio cable.  I checked every part of this combination to be sure if they work properly. and yes they do.

On the other hand, you know when you connect a working mic or an audio input you get a pop-up notification on the screen, which asks "To Complete The Action use Bixby or Google"
From time to time I do get this notification but usually not and even if I get it I do still get the parasite noise.

The weird thing is; I do plug and unplug the combination and have a proper working after 20 or 30 tries. No, it's not a connection issue because as I said I checked every part separately and each two of them together, they all work perfectly.

Has anyone tried to record audio in this way before? Had any success?

Check this pics,it might interest you,it's cheap and easy to set up,you might wanna do post production or get an app with a volume slider to at least balance volumes on voice and instruments. I am a samsung fan but I have to admit ios have better options with regards to music production, garage band app is amazing, you can always do the audio and sync the video afterwards with a video editing app or program

I dont know how familiar you are with allie express ,lets hope they can ship this to you . The waiting time before the lockdown was approximately 1 month, not sure now how long and if those kind of shipments are permitted, good luck ,let's hope for the best!
