USB Type C audio adaptor issue

I bought a samsung usb c to 3.5mm adaptor. When watching movies or playing games the sound that should be heard from the left earphone comes out on the right earphone.. and vice versa.

Like for example I play pubg, i hear footstep or explosion on the right but the footstep or explosion was really on the left side. Same thing when im watching movies.. I tried also changing my earphone but still the same.

What can you do with this samsung?

Kindly confirm from where you bought this adapter.
If it is not a genuine product from Samsung, sound issue will be there for sure.
Check attached product from Samsung.

Hi, it can be an issue with the adaptor. You can fix it easily.

Install sound assistant app (Samsung's own app) from here https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.soundassistant

Open the app, scroll to the bottom, select advanced settings, turn on reverse stereo. DONE.
