The updated UI7 software has caused performance lag on my phone, a problem not present in previous versions. The software feels slower and less responsive, negatively affecting system performance and fluidity, even with dynamic refresh rate enabled. The previous version ran smoothly, but the updated version has made the device sluggish. I want to know if it's possible to revert to the features from the previous software version to improve usability and system fluidity, particularly with dynamic refresh rate support. I also want to know if the Samsung community is experiencing the same issue and if there is a way to fix the problem.

If you have updated to One UI 7 atleast a month ago or even more and its still underperforming then its time to make changes

1.Turn off adaptive battery
2.Disable suspend execution for cached apps in developer options
3.Turn off ram plus if enabled because physical ram is faster than virtual ram

Making these changes boosted my budget A13 performance it feels like I have a flagship and my phone rarely lags, its buttery smooth and verry responsive

Which model device are you using if I may ask?

Thats the thing its slower ram and most phones dont really need it...id say a phone with 3 gigs ram can do with ram plus but 4 gigs is sufficient...my phone performs verry well with ram plus disabled

Its crazy that samsung says "apps will stay open longer and stuff" even though it makes phone laggy. I think it should only me extra stuff that should be using ram plus and not

The thing is it not only makes the phone's lag but it makes it slower and less responsive
