I had a feeling we wouldn’t be getting the One UI 7 update on April 7, and sadly, I was right. It feels like Samsung gave us that date just to silence the growing criticism. People were trolling them nonstop over the delay, so they threw a random date out there—just like they did back in the Lollipop days—to keep everyone calm. But the truth is, nothing has been delivered, and the silence is louder than ever.
What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of transparency. Why is the update still delayed? Is One UI 7 not stable yet? Are there major bugs, or deeper technical issues that haven't been addressed? No one knows, because Samsung hasn’t given us any real explanation. All we get are vague promises and shifting timelines.
We’ve been waiting for over six months now. That’s a long time for users who were excited, hopeful, and genuinely looking forward to a fresh software experience. Instead, we’re stuck checking for updates daily, reading rumors, and watching other brands move ahead while we sit in limbo.
Samsung, we’re tired. Tired of the waiting, tired of the silence, and tired of being kept in the dark. If there’s a delay, at least respect your users enough to communicate openly. We deserve to know the truth about what’s happening with One UI 7.
At this point, all we can hope is that whenever the update finally drops, it lives up to the hype — because after all this time, the expectations are sky high.
