This is the most pathetic and outdated process of updating the user base ... Samsung is still running on android 14 till date while pixel has launched android 16 beta 3 a couple of days back .. there is no update available yet for the so called one UI7 that will be a game changer .. Samsung is trying to be Apple that we do it our way and becoming a Nokia .. I will be moving away from Samsung mobiles as there is no point paying a premium and waiting for software updates that are a year late
You need to understand that Pixel is a Google product and hence has priority for Android updates as Android is a Google product. Also the Android that is launched is ready to use for Pixel phones where as Samsung has to work on updates for their devices. The Android version you get on your Samsung device is highly optimized with features you will never get in a base Android phone. Hence, the time difference.
What about all other non Google owned products such as Oppo, OnePlus etc .. Samsung is fashionably late in updates and this time they have just raised the bar .. the features that you are talking about are good to have .. the core of an android phone has nothing to do with it and being late a year in giving the latest version is just not right ..
