Trying to set it up , came with a screen asking userID/tenant ID. Could not go back , delete or anything . The heading was under Knox manage.. had a brief case pic at top. Also on lock screen shows " this phone belongs to your organization ".
After transferring all my music , pics etc it was working ok , until I switched it off . In the morning, it had deleted everything. Did it's own reset .
My son did some googling and downloaded an app called alliance shield.
Not sure if it's blocking anything as it's on android 15 still and security patch is 1 April 2025..
Will it and when, will it receive android 16 and latest security patch updates?
The phone, according to what you said and what i think, was given by a organisation. This means they technicly own. The person who had it probably sold it to make money even though they should have gave it.
