I have a Samsung s20 and yesterday after school I updated my phone as it told me to update, after the update my phone refuses to charge at all unless it is shut down, which is a massive inconvenience. Is there any way I could resolve this, and is this issue only with me? I have tried every way to fix it but it won't

Hi,
Sorry to hear that.

What was the update? Was it One UI 4.1 Update? Can you please check and confirm?

Few months ago. Someone has also reported the same problem. I didn't believe it

Anyways . You can try a full reset within recovery

But at first. Please connect to a pc to see if it recognizes your phone

I'm guessing you've tried other chargers . Right?

I've tried other chargers, same with all of them, it seems to have fixed itself only sometimes, sometimes it charges powered up, other times it does not

Hi there, improper charging can be because of a faulty USB cable. Try connecting your phone to a PC with the same cable and check whether the phone is charging when it's on. Also check whether the files in the phone are accessible through PC.
