I have been trying to link my OneDrive account to my Samsung Gallery so that I can sync my photos on OneDrive through my Samsung gallery. But every time, no matter what I try, a "Server error occurred, try again later" message appears. This does not happen when I try a different Microsoft account, but I need it to work on the Microsoft account it is rejecting because that is the one I have 100 GB of OneDrive storage with.

I have done the basics: restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling, signing out and signing back in, waiting a while, and I do have sufficient cloud storage. I have also checked my account status, and nothing is linked to my Samsung account that might prevent me from linking my OneDrive account.

Does anyone have an idea on how I can fix this? If so, please help. I've read online of many people struggling with the same issue, so this would help them too.

The OneDrive version is 7.10. As far as the Sync With OneDrive setting, I am unable to reach because the furthest I can go is the main screen. I have attached a screenshot of what happens, basically, I click the "Continue" then it takes me to samsung clouds website to sign in to my Microsoft, and after a successful authentication, it comes back to the main screen and shows what the screenshot is showing. That's as far as I can go, and I don't have the Sync with OneDrive setting when I can't sign in. And I will say again, this only happens with this Microsoft account, not with others. But I don't understand why, because it's a normal Microsoft account, with paid OneDrive subscription, and I have been using it for years.

I once tried before in the past to sync with gallery, but I canceled the process last minute because I remembered that I didn't have enough storage yet. This was before I bought more storage. So maybe there is a glitch?1722457135586.jpg

I'm sorry that I couldn't help you... I would physically have a look at your phone if it were possible. Try to get someone to check it for you...

Thank you for efforts though, I really appreciate it! I don't think it is something specifically wrong with my phone since this issue happens on all my devices using the same Microsoft account. I do feel like it might be an issue on the server.

Have you tried resetting your gallery app? Deleting cache and app data? It's like you said it could be stuck because you canceled an active sync process abruptly.Just make sure when doing the cache and app data clear that it doesn't affect your photos or videos.

Hi, Thank you for your suggestion. No, I have not tried that. The thing is, I have tried the same Microsoft account on another samsung device, and the same error happens. And yet again, it works with other Microsoft accounts, just not the one I have OneDrive storage with. So I don't think it is the gallery app that's the issue, and I have organized albums that I would like to keep, and deleting gallery data would remove them. Im starting to think it might be my Microsoft account that's the issue, but everything seems normal on my account page. I have bought OneDrive storage quite recently, though, maybe a week ago. Do you think the reason could be because the OneDrive is new?

It's not showing my side either 🫣 I think it must have been removed somehow.

Same issue for me, the sync with Onedrive in Samsung Galery never worked for me, this is another bug from Samsung that will never repair and they will ask you nonsense questions in the community instead of solving the bug.

Exactly, I still have not resolved this issue, and I have tried everything that people suggested. NOTHING has worked. So I have concluded that this is a fault on either Samsung or Microsoft's side or the link between the two.
