By contacts I mean cell numbers email addresses and the likes. I sent a bunch of them to Samsung contacts and now I can't find them. Help me please.

Maybe the contacts app is only selected to show you contacts that are on the phone, and not stored elsewere.

Hi Thanks for your advice. The actions needed weren't quite has you discribe, but by working within that menu I was able to find the Samsung contacts. Also I found that I could see other contacts' lists and to work with them.

This you can check the following way, open contacts app,
select 3 stripe menu in top left corner,
select the first button under setting at the top and see if it is selected to show all contacts
