Hello fellow members,

It has been reported in the US and Europe forums that there were no differences whatsoever between the Vivid and Natural Screen Modes on several devices(Mine Too)

This matter has been escalated as a large number of devices show no difference or a very subtle one between the 2 modes, where colors look like "Washed Out". There are many speculations about the matter, but it looks like something that can be sorted out hopefully with a software update, as those 2 Screen Modes show significant differences on the other devices. 

I was in contact with my fellow Samsung Stars in the US, who also are facing the same with their devices.

Whatsapp Voice Notes:

We also noticed that there's some kind of interference when sending a WhatsApp voice note. When sent from an S24U, you can hear a whislting subtle sound. Did you notice it? Can you try sending a blank voice note and turn the volume up and let me know if you are facing the same please? I have several documented cases now, i just hope that this also is something that can be fixed with an update. It might be that the noise cancelling mic has been move to the upper side of the phone next to the secondary mic, or just a WhatsApp compatibility.

As a workaround, try disabling both Eye comfort shield and Adaptive color tone (if they are enabled).
I guess the implementation of the latter has broken Screen mode.

Hi Zammi, it's an out of the box issue, both settings are disabled, there are no known workarounds, and regardless of what people are trying, this 1% difference between the 2 display settings is not how it should be. Let's wait and see.

One more bug - open Google messages and go to any RCS chat. Click emoji or sticker. That should work as it should be. Now click the voice input icon. Nothing happens. Now, if you try to click emoji or sticker icons, that would not work.

Good catch, though i don't remember sending an sms the past 5 years 😄 i rarely use messages, let alone rsc or Google messaging, i hope that's also another easy fix for the developers.

I have purchased a new S24 ultra and when playing a whatsapp voice message and while putting phone on my ear,  the voice starts playing very loud through speaker then in one or 2 seconds it goes back to continue message from ear piece.  The repair shop said it is a glitch in the software as the sensor is working well but after all updates I still have same issue.  Anyone facing same and how to solve it?

Same here, happens very often, phone is okay, issue with whatsapp devs, samsung doesn't have control on the app development, hopefully a future update can fix.

can't make a voice message in whatsapp or snapchat or even voice recorder using a bluetooth headset in galaxy s24 samsung report a bug please 🙏🏻

Same problem im facing the screen doesnt change when i change with screen modes and in whatsapp voice note whenever i try to put it on my ear and hear the voice it just maximiz the voice at the highest note

I'm facing another issue on my 24 ultra with WhatsApp voice notes as well. Whenever I try to listen to the voice note while the phone is on my ear, the note plays for about 25-27 seconds then suddenly stops. I can't figure out what is the reason and why my phone is acting this way.
