I am experiencing significantly lower Wi-Fi sensitivity on my S23 FE compared to other devices (specifically a laptop) in the same physical location. In a room serviced by a Wi-Fi extender, my laptop maintains a stable, high-speed connection, while my S23 FE frequently drops the connection, shows 1 bar, or fails to detect the SSID entirely.
Technical Diagnostics:
RSSI Reading: With "Wi-Fi Verbose Logging" enabled, the phone reports a signal strength of -79 dBm. In the exact same spot, my laptop reports a stable connection with high throughput.
Asymmetric Link Test: When I use my laptop as a mobile hotspot (bridging the extender’s connection), the S23 FE connects perfectly and maintains high speeds. This suggests the Wi-Fi chip is functional, but the antenna gain/sensitivity is insufficient to communicate directly with the extender at this range.
Troubleshooting Already Performed:
Network Reset: Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings (No change).
Intelligent Wi-Fi: Disabled "Wi-Fi Power Saving Mode" and "Switch to Mobile Data" (No change).
Frequency Isolation: Tested on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The issue persists on both, though 2.4GHz is slightly more visible but still unstable.
Router Config: Verified the extender is on non-DFS channels.
Question for the Community:
Is this a known hardware limitation regarding the antenna design of the S23 FE, or is it possible I have a defective Wi-Fi antenna flex cable? Are other S23 FE users seeing similar RSSI discrepancies compared to older Galaxy models or laptops?
Any insights from the technical team or users who found a modem-side fix would be appreciated.

Honestly it seems like you are more experienced in the technical side of this problem. I did see an article based on this that some units experienced this problem specially after the recent updates .
I myself have no clue of the solution but very interested if any one has found it.Good luck
