S22 ultra Android Auto refuses to work

Anyone else unable to get android auto to work? I know it's a major issue and they haven't fixed it yet. It's giving me major anxiety

I saw a post about android auto being broken specifically for the android s22 series, they were turning to the community to come up with a solution. They promised to keep on trying to find a solution. Very few people understands the worth of android auto. I use it daily. My toyota radio has a problem, android auto freezes after about a 100km travel,but not always,toyota wants me to take a video of that whilst it is happening, Imagine that ,whilst driving and whilst connected to my radio🤣stupid south african service providers!

Absolutely. I use it daily as well and I just got my s22 ultra yesterday so I'm completely bummed about this. Lol good luck taking that video hey 🤣

Best suggestion is to complain on the play store about android auto specifically for the s22,so they can maybe elevate this problem higher up to Google themselves, the more complaints the better! Also do try to enroll in the beta testers in the play store at the bottom of the android auto app. I see it is currently full,but as someone leave,you will be able to get a space,but it can take long, I've been waiting 3 months now. Sometimes the beta variant has a fix that is not properly tested yet and you get to test it out. Alternatively - depending on your car you get a box that makes android Auto wireless through your car's USB port,from Kakadi in Pretoria, it's about R1500,and the guys are friendly they don't mind you testing it out, before buying it .I think they are in boksburg as well. Alternatively you can order a wireless android Auto box on AliExpress. Good luck ,but let's hope that fix comes soon. I want to buy the s23 next year,hope by then it's sorted! Also make sure your cable IA always the original cable and all your ports to be clean as well. This USB connection I don't like too much,slightest interference and you have problems! I wish they go over in cars to USB C

Have you tried wired and wireless. We'll if your head unit supports android auto wireless

Yeah I've tried both. It just continues "Looking for Android Auto"

I have the s21 ultra,but since rhe s10 it is pretty hit or miss. Some times it runs pretty fine and all of a sudden it becomes a mess after an update. Apple car play also had its fair share of problems
