S22 Ultra Updates

Anyone feeling that the S22 Ultra in the XFA (Africa) region is very much neglected? Remember how we had to wait 4 months to receive One UI 6.0 and Android 14? It feels like it is happening again.

My S22U is still stuck on the 1 December Security Patch. Were headed toward May! It's almost 6 months since the last updates!

I really feel disappointed in Samsung.

Hi there the reason why Galaxy S22 is not getting One Ui 6.1 is that Samsung has changed it's mind and the Galaxy S22 is going to receive One Ui 6.1 AI capabilities in early May 2024

Got it on my S22U. One UI 6.1 with AI.

I changed my phone's CSC from XFA (South Africa) to XXV (Vietnam) and instantly got the 1 April security update. Samsung Pay and all other features seem to be working normally. If you want updates on the S22 series phones you'll need to change your CSC. Samsung has truly forgotten about South Africa.

You're making it seem as if we aren't going to get an update at all. We will get the update, very late though.

If they had truly forgotten SA, then we won't be receiving any update at all or not receiving any services. It's just a matter of regions. Different regions have different schedules and services. If you think of it, Samsung provides its services based on region.
