Dear All,

This is my first time using Samsung Members, so excuse me if I am re-posting this.

So I recently got myself an S22 Ultra along with my existing Note10+, and both devices keep disconnecting Bluetooth when making a call while driving. This issue happens in both of my BMWs (BMW M5 with NBT iDrive & BMW X6 with NBT iDrive as well)

The S22 Ultra is on Android 12 - One UI 4.1, and the Note10+ is on Android 12 - One UI 4.0. 

More details on the problem. It happens when I try to make a call or receive a call. 10 seconds into the call the phone disconnects from the car, for about 30 seconds, then reconnects back. Funny thing is that it keeps doing the same thing over and over again, making Bluetooth calls impossible to happen.

My Note10+ was working well with both of my cars since the day I bought it. Problem only happened after updating my Note10+ (S22 Release Date). So I am guessing it's a software glitch that's making both of my phones disconnect from both of my cars.

I have tried unpairing, and pairing both of my devices back to my cars but problem is still there.

Also, just a note, music via Bluetooth works well. It only happens to calls made via Bluetooth.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

That's the thing. It isn't device related. It's a software issue.

My friend with his S22 Ultra also confirmed having the same issue

Don't go to any service center trust me they will run one test and say the phone is perfect there is no problem with I have been complaining since 15 days and today in front of the technician I switched the camera for 5 mins the phone started heating up I told him to catch the phone he said yes it is heating up but I can't do anything test was a pass there is no problem the service center is shared dg name of the person is kartik

I'm not going to go for sure. The problem is not with my device only. My friend confirmed having the same issue. And I have the same issue with 2 different devices. It's a software glitch for sure.

Is it happening on your lovely GTR? Or other cars? Trying to see if it's a BMW problem or not

Please bring your device to a Samsung Service Center to have it checked out my a technician and help resolve the issue. 

Find the nearest service center near you online, or on Samsung.com, or by calling the call center or passing by one of the Samsung brand stores.
