Hello my friends I bought an S21 ultra two weeks ago and notice a huge temperature rise that I cannot even hold in my hand due to the intensity of the temperature, which reaches 56 degrees Celsius, and then all the pop-up windows are closed and the device becomes very slow. This problem appears especially when using video calls for ten minutes and maybe less, knowing that I updated to AUB9 according to Samsung's instructions, but the problem is still the same. what do you think ?

have you tried switching from 5g to just 4g usage. I saw some improvement when I did that.

We understand that your phone is overheating. And we apologize for the inconvenience.

Kindly find the below reasons lead your phone warms up in order to avoid if you are doing any of them:

• While using the device in an environment, where the ambient temperature is higher, you may feel that the device is getting hotter than usual.
• Intensive camera use
• Using apps that require more power or using apps for extended periods
• While multitasking or when running many apps in the background
• Mobile use while charging
• Blocked ventilation
• Poor signal strength
• Charging the battery with a damaged USB cable
• Charging port is damaged or exposed to foreign materials, such as liquid, dust, metal powder, and pencil lead

Below are ways to cool your phone and keep it efficient:

• Keep the device updated with the latest software.
• Remove the phone’s case
• Move it apart from direct sunlight
• Reduce the display brightness
• Deactivate the Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth features when not using them
• Close apps that increase battery consumption or that run in the background when not in use
• Delete unnecessary files or unused apps
• Stop using the phone while charging

thank you for replying The fact is that the device heats up just by surfing the Internet and I do not have a 5G network, nor do I connect to Bluetooth, not even Wi-Fi. I don't have many programs just Facebook Whatsapp and only one game to try the device. The temperature is as follows in the temperature range: (using the mobile phone at room temperature) - When using the internet browser, the temperature is between 38 - 40 degrees. - When using social media programs, the temperature is between 40 - 43 degrees. - When using video calls for ten minutes, the temperature reaches between 54-56 degrees. When using a game like PUBG for ten minutes, the temperature reaches 52 degrees. Under the sun and not using the device, the temperature reaches 46 degrees.

Yup, same problem with mine...honestly you won't get a proper answer from Samsung, I even went to the service center multiple times, all advice was software update. And when I replicate them the problem even when using the latest software (my phone still heats up specially while using the camera (director's view and pro) and shuts down automatically), they decided to change the board of my unit. But still with latest software AUBB and new board, my unit still gets hot and shuts down...what the **bleep** is this phone!?!?

Best advice is to replace your unit or apply for a refund because their new phone is tr@**bleep**. You could look in other forums but still no solution. Got mine pre ordered by the way.
