Any idea why I'm receiving public alerts in Arabic and Hindi? My colleagues have received in Arabic and English.

Phone: S24 ultra.

Receiving public alerts in languages other than your preferred language can occur due to various reasons, including the settings on your device, your location, and the language preferences set by authorities issuing the alerts. Here are some possible explanations and steps you can take:

1. Location-Based Alerts: Public alerts are often sent based on your geographical location. If you are in an area where Arabic or Hindi is commonly spoken, you may receive alerts in those languages, especially if they are issued by local authorities or government agencies.

2. Language Settings: Check the language settings on your S24 Ultra to ensure that your preferred language is selected as the primary language. Go to Settings > General Management > Language and Input > Language to review and adjust the language settings if needed.

3. Alert Preferences: Some alert systems allow users to choose their preferred language for receiving alerts. Check if there are any options in the settings related to public alerts or emergency notifications where you can specify your language preference.

4. Network Provider: Public alerts may also be influenced by your network provider or SIM card settings.

5. Contact Network Provider

6. System Updates: Ensure that your device's software is up to date. Sometimes, system updates may include enhancements or fixes related to language settings or alert notifications.
