Galaxy SThank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.
1. Navigate to your email account.
2. Navigate to and open settings. Tap accounts and backup, and then tap Accounts. Next, tap on the email account which is causing the trouble and remove it.
3. Remove and re-add the account.
4. Tap Remove account. To confirm, tap remove account a second time. Add the email account again, and then try to receive another email.
5. Clear cache:
Menu> apps> settings icon>application> email> storage> clear cache.
6. Make sure you are connected to the internet.
Check to see if you are connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile data network on your phone. To do this, open an internet browser to see if you have internet access.
7. Check email sync settings.
Navigate to and open Email. Tap Menu, and then tap Settings. Select an account, and check if the Sync account feature is turned on.
8. Reset all app preferences at once. Go to Settings > Apps > Tap the More menu in the upper-right corner > Select Reset App Preferences.
In case the issue still occurs. Head to the Members app > Get Help > Error Report > Tap 'OK' to send System Log Data > Select the symptom, and include as much detail as possible.
