Why is the other device to phone feature no longer available on s23 one ui 7? 

Also spotify doesn't show up on lock screen anymore, only on the now bar which is horrible. Any solutions for both?

Why it may be gone:

1. Samsung may have deprecated or limited this feature in newer One UI versions for some models.

2. It could also be region-dependent or removed due to security concerns or low usage data.


Possible Solutions:

1. Try using the Samsung Flow or Link to Windows features for screen sharing/interaction.

2. Use a third-party app like AirDroid or Vysor to mirror screens if you need the “Other device → Phone” feature.

For Spotify Issues:

1. Check Notification Settings
2. Allow Spotify to run in the background
3. Spotify App Settings:

Open Spotify > Tap Settings (gear icon)

Scroll down to “Device Broadcast Status” — turn it ON.

Tried all these, still doesn't show on lock screen. Seen many posts where users have reported that music player no longer available on lock screen only now bar.
