I just got the S24 and I want to add a new widget from a non pre-installed widget on my lockscreen... however I have tried third party apps, and none have worked... does anyone know how I can get this to work?

I don't think it's possible to add Widgets on your Lock Screen, remember Lock Screen is there to protect your private stuff from people.

With Good Lock, you can but but not all widgets appear. I think it's because of the secure lock method!

Don't tell people you own and use a Samsung device. 😂 😂 😂

Use LockStar from Good Lock to add widgets on Lockscreen.

Good Lock is an official customisation tool for Galaxy devices from Samsung. Install from Galaxy store.

If you have any difficulties with adding widgets on Lockscreen, let me know. I will give you the steps to do it.

I hope your app's widget works well on the lockscreen.

[Edit]:
So, I just tried it myself, I found that I can add any widget on the lockscreen edit mode with LockStar but no all widget appear on the actual lockscreen when the phone is locked. The Google search bar did not appear but the calendar widget appear, for example.

To add other widgets I clicked on the lockstar icon at the bottom, and from there it gives another menu to customize from... then just click to select the one you want to move and change them around, or that's what I did and what worked for me 💪

Oh I see you did do that... maybe your settings doesn't allow overlay or over top showing?
