Hi
How we can merge personal and work profile or configure work account without creating work profile or link camera app between personal and work profile to disable it in both profile.

Hello. What do you mean by "merge"? What exactly are you trying to achieve?
Re configuring work accounts without creating a work profile: sure you can do that, if you mean adding a work account to a standard profile. For instance, adding your pro Google Workspace account to your standard profile. That's possible. It depends on what you mean/what you're actually trying to accomplish.
Remember: your company could specify how this works and require you to install an on-device EMM manager [Mobile Device Manager - MDM]. This means they may force or prefer a work profile.
Re camera app linking: technically, they're separate. That's the whole idea. Same with the gallery apps. If you mean you'd like to do some data sharing, that's possible for some apps. That can also be set server-side, depending on your EMM [Enterprise Mobility Management] platform's specs/settings. For some apps, such as Gboard, data is shared by default between standard and work profiles, for ease of use. You can investigate this further.
If you simply want to disable the camera for both profiles, check your EMM, server-side and set the appropriate policies.
I suggest you speak to someone in your IT/tech team who is familiar with your solution or do some research re your platform's specific capabilities/implementation. All the best.

Hi,
Thanks,
My goal is to disable the camera in both profile but while i am configured work account with mdm its create seperate work profiles and block the camera in work profile only and still we can access camera in personal profiles.
So is there any solution we can block the camera in both profiles.
In apple we can do that because it didn't create 2 separate profile.
I check with mdm vendor they said its android os limitation that create separate profile for work.
I am an IT admin. ☺️

Hello. Ok re you being IT admin.
Re previous: merging profiles, if the device is corporate owned, you can provision it as "Device Owner" instead of "Profile Owner". This way, there's only one profile on the device which is company owned and totally controlled by the MDM.
With this approach, you can then disable the camera. I did a quick check with my MDM, and that's the case [Android 4.0 & above, Samsung Knox + Android 4.3 & above, and Full Device Management [Device Owner]]. I've attached a screenshot.
Re iOS: ok. I'm not familiar with it. I guess it may work differently.
You can give some feedback to your MDM provider and Google, to enable such a functionality or policy in the future, within Android. All the best.
