How to connect portable hard disk to Samsung S8

I am not  able to connect portable hard disk  to my Samsung  s8. If anyone  knows the solution  please advice  me.

To connect Samsung S8 to hard disk (NTFS format), you require:

-OTG connector

-Total Commander app

-Microsoft exFat/NTFS usb app

Just plug n play.
