Just bought a Samsung S21 Ultra but its a Korean model so I have tried to change my Operating System from the Korean version to the South African version but I am getting Security Check Fail (PIT) Error. I have tried unlocking bootloader and downloaded different flash files but none of these things worked except for the Korean Flash file only.

Which steps or what guides are you using to unlock the bootloader?
Has it been successfully unlocked?
I noticed you also posted this on 30 Sep 2024.

Yeah, bootloader has been successfully unlocked. I used the method of putting the phone in download mode then long press the volume up then select unlock bootload. But when i did this I first unlocked Developer Settings then activated OEM option.

Steps to Resolve PIT Error

1. Ensure PIT File Matches Firmware:

PIT (Partition Information Table) files are specific to the model and region.

You need the correct PIT file for your device. Extract it from the Korean firmware using tools like 7-Zip.

2. Download the Correct Firmware:

Download the latest firmware for your exact model (SM-G998N) from trusted sources like SamMobile or Frija Tool.

Ensure the firmware matches the region you're trying to flash (South Korea in this case).

3. Flash Multiregional Firmware (Optional):

Some firmware versions (like those for Europe) support multiple CSCs, including South Africa. Check if you can find multiregional firmware compatible with your device.

4. Use Odin Correctly:

Download the latest Odin tool.

Load the firmware files (BL, AP, CP, and HOME_CSC).

In Options, ensure Re-Partition is not checked unless you have the exact PIT file.

Flash using the Korean firmware first, then try switching CSC after booting.

it involves advanced steps and can have risks like voiding your warranty, factory resetting your device, or even bricking it if not done correctly

Alternative Solution: Changing CSC Without Flashing:

If you want to enable South African features:

1. Check CSC Codes:

Dial *#272*IMEI# (replace "IMEI" with your phone’s IMEI number).

Check if the South African CSC (e.g., XFA) is listed.

Changing CSC this way wipes all data.

2. Samsung Service Center:

Visit a Samsung Service Center and request assistance to change the CSC.
