Hi, anyone else having problems with videos getting corrupted after updating to Android 12? I have a s20 ultra, after I updated I lost 3 of my child's videos 😞

Try to update the app. Maybe it is still running on a previous version.

Can you use a File Manager and manually navigate to the directory/folder where the videos are saved and then select the video file to open it with a video player. Alternatively, you can use MX Player (download in Google Play Store) to play the videos. Once you open the app, follow setup. Important: Grant it Storage permission. MX Player will automatically search and display a list of videos stored in your phone. (Edited: negativity removed).

A link to MX Player Google Play Store Page:

It still doesn't make sense about how user files gets corrupted after Android upgrade.. Sorry for your loss.

Try to Soft Reset your phone:

1. Press and hold on both Power button and Volume down button.

Take note: A screenshot may be captured while holding on both buttons, however keep holding on those two buttons until phone restarts then release both buttons.

Do not worry, no data will be loss. This process is different from Factory data Reset or Hard reset.

You're welcome. Always remember to backup your data before upgrading Android and before doing a Factory Reset.
